Overview:
Psychology is an elective, one-semester course (½ high school credit) designed to introduce students to the scientific exploration of human behavior and mental processes.
Through a TEKS-aligned framework, this course explores behavior and mental processes. It offers students an engaging introduction to how biology, childhood experiences, learned behaviors, and personality traits help people deal with societal and psychological factors. These factors influence their thoughts and actions as individuals as well as behaviors in group settings.
